Kristi is a qualified fitness professional, experienced teacher and coach with a long-standing belief that movement should help people feel capable, confident and at home in their bodies. She completed her Certificate III and IV in Fitness in 2009 and spent years teaching Zumba and other group fitness classes before bringing that experience into Xtreme Athlete.
A new perspective after motherhood
Kristi became a mum in late 2024. During pregnancy she gained 25 kg, then experienced first-hand the physical and emotional process of rebuilding her body postpartum while managing diastasis recti and exclusively breastfeeding.
That experience changed the direction of her coaching. She understands how different recovery can feel when sleep, feeding, family responsibilities, changing hormones and a body that no longer feels familiar all exist alongside the desire to become strong again. It inspired her to focus specifically on helping mums rebuild strength, mobility and confidence – and, importantly, feel like themselves again after having children.
Performance experience
Kristi also brings an accomplished movement and performance background. She is a three-time World Champion Latin dancer and has won more than a dozen Australian titles across salsa, bachata, cha cha and samba. She has trained, performed and taught internationally, coaching everyone from complete beginners to high-level competitors.
Those achievements inform her understanding of movement, body awareness, motivation and progressive skill development, but her work with mums is grounded in real life rather than performance standards.
Coaching focus
Through Xtreme Rebuild, Kristi is developing a practical pathway for women who want to regain strength and confidence around the realities of motherhood, family and work. Her approach is encouraging, technically informed and focused on sustainable progress rather than extremes or pressure to simply “bounce back”.
